Recently, Feedmark published an advert suggesting that their Best Flex HA joint supplement contained more active ingredients than any of their competitors on the market. They also claimed that they were very “honest”.
On the basis that they selected only SOME of the active ingredients in their product and their competitor’s products, I posted that I didn’t consider this to be very honest!
I’ve now reproduced the graph Feedmark put out [below] which shows their product as having the most active ingredients. I’ve also created my own honest, transparent and accurate version, which shows ALL active ingredients for ALL the joint supplements.
Feedmark chart only shows FOUR active ingredients

Animalweb Joint Supplement Chart ALL Active Ingredients

And guess what?
Feedmark are no longer ranked the best. I consider this to be dishonest and misleading by Feedmark.
Please watch out for these marketing scams. Feedmark are not the only ones at it. Oh. And one of their arguments was that only glucosamine, chondroitin sulphate, MSM and HA have evidence for efficacy. Again, this is absolutely untrue. Another attempt to mislead the consumer. If they are prepared to do this with one of their products, it might make you wonder if they are at it with their others as well.
Now you are informed, it’s your choice. We don’t tell you what to do. We give you accurate information on which to make an informed choice.
Whenever I post something like this, lots of people accuse me of being biased because “he owns Science Supplements”. It’s true I founded Science Supplements in 2000, but I sold it over 10 years ago. This is accurate and unbiased information. Your choice what you do with it 🙂
DATA used to construct the graphs in this post are taken directly from manufacturer’s own websites and or product labels and are those stated as being for maintenance for an ~500kg horse and are correct as of 23/06/2024.
