Animalweb has been announced as an official sponsor of the BSAS Equine Conference 2025, taking place on 21–22 November at the MacDonald Burlington Hotel, Birmingham.
Hosted by the British Society of Animal Science (BSAS), the flagship two-day event will unite researchers, veterinarians, nutritionists, trainers, riders, and industry leaders to explore the latest evidence-based science and practical innovations shaping the future of horse health, welfare, and performance.
A shared mission: making equine science accessible
Dr David Marlin, Owner of Animalweb and President of the National Equine Welfare Council (NEWC), said: “Animalweb was created to provide access to reliable, science-based information for all equestrians, whether they are owners, riders, or industry professionals. We are proud to sponsor the BSAS Equine Conference, which perfectly reflects our mission of making equine science accessible and useful in the real world. This event offers a vital opportunity to connect scientists with those working with horses every day, ensuring the latest knowledge benefits equine health and welfare.”
Bridging the gap between research and practice
Welcoming the partnership, BSAS President Dr Helen Warren said: “A key role of the Society is to disseminate science beyond the academic community, ensuring evidence reaches those who can put it into practice. This collaboration with Animalweb directly supports BSAS’ mission to promote excellence in equine science, improve understanding, and ultimately deliver better outcomes for horses and the people who care for them.”
The 2025 conference will feature leading experts, keynote sessions, and practical take-home strategies.
Day 1 will focus on cutting-edge research in nutrition, welfare, genetics, and performance, while Day 2 will provide evidence-based advice tailored for horse owners and para-professionals.
