A new research study, led by the University of Edinburgh in collaboration with US researchers, is calling on equestrian industry professionals and enthusiasts across the UK and Europe to share their opinions on equine genetics. This unique opportunity allows horse owners, breeders, and anyone involved in the equine world to directly shape the future of genetics research and science education in the field.
The study aims to gather insights on what areas of equine genetics matter most to the community and where future research should be focused. Participants will have a chance to influence the direction of research that could improve the health, performance, and well-being of horses for years to come.
Why Participate?
- Help shape the future of equine genetics research
- Ensure industry priorities are reflected in upcoming studies
- Support scientific advancements that benefit horse welfare
The study has been reviewed and approved by the University of Edinburgh’s Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies Human Ethical Review Committee (URN: HERC_24_083).
