Animalweb is urging horse owners and yard managers to take part in a quick poll to help shape a forthcoming investigation into disinfectants used around horses.
With so much conflicting advice available, it is not always clear which products are legal, effective, and safe. Animalweb’s planned deep dive aims to cut through the confusion and provide clear, evidence-based guidance the equestrian community can rely on.
The short, multiple-choice poll will help identify the key questions and concerns people have about disinfectant use, ensuring the investigation focuses on the topics that matter most.
The initiative comes at a particularly relevant time, as Animalweb supports Strangles Awareness Week 2026, highlighting the importance of good yard biosecurity practices in protecting horse health.
Responses will directly influence what Animalweb goes on to investigate, test, and share with its audience.
