Passionate about horses and dedicated to the highest standard of equine care, Meisha Micklewright is a veterinary surgeon and qualified equine dental technician based in Leicestershire. After graduating from the Royal Veterinary College, Meisha gained a wealth of experience in a variety of equine practices across the UK.

In 2022, Meisha founded Belvoir Equine Veterinary and Dental Services, initially focusing on equine dentistry before developing the practice into a full-service, independent equine veterinary clinic. Meisha combines her professional expertise with a strong ethos of compassion, integrity and trust.

A proud member of the British Association of Equine Dental Technicians (BAEDT), Meisha is also working towards her postgraduate certificate in Equine Dental Surgery at the University of Liverpool. Her clinical interests besides dentistry are preventative healthcare and care of the geriatric patient— reflecting her lifelong connection to horses both in and out of the saddle.

Alongside her professional life, Meisha is an enthusiastic amateur jockey competing in both point to pointing and team chasing. Her blend of clinical precision, hands-on horsemanship, and genuine empathy makes her approach to equine veterinary care both technically excellent and deeply personal.

Meisha’s mission is simple: to provide thorough, compassionate, and consistent routine dentistry that is accessible to all horse owners.
