Another very worthy recipient of the Animalweb Good Horsemanship Award was young rider Millie Glanville, pictured with her pony, also called Millie.
Millie stood out to our team for her excellent horsemanship and the genuine connection she clearly shares with her pony. Throughout the event, she consistently demonstrated kindness, patience and a strong understanding of her pony’s needs.
We were particularly impressed to see Millie praise and acknowledge her pony after their performances. It was a lovely example of putting the pony first and recognising their contribution to the partnership.
It is encouraging to see such positive horsemanship from an up-and-coming young equestrian.
