Emile Faurie

International Dressage Rider and Trainer

Emile Faurie is one of the UK’s leading international dressage riders and trainers, renowned for representing Great Britain at the highest levels of the sport, including two Olympic Games, three World Equestrian Games, and four European Championships.

As a British Dressage List 2 judge, Emile works with elite riders across multiple disciplines, helping them achieve their goals. Based at his premier training facility, Heath Farm in Oxfordshire, he mentors a wide range of talent, from emerging Young Riders to seasoned Grand Prix competitors.

With a foundation of training under German dressage legends such as Klaus Balkenhol, Conrad Schumacher, and the late Herbert Rehbein, Emile is known for his ability to foster harmony between horse and rider. His tailored training regimes focus on developing partnerships that excel both in competition and beyond.

Emile’s passion extends beyond the competitive arena. As the founder of the Emile Faurie Foundation, he is dedicated to providing disadvantaged children with the opportunity to ride. Through riding lessons and life-skills development, the Foundation inspires young people to grow in confidence and resilience. Emile is actively involved in visiting schools and riding establishments, offering demonstrations and hands-on guidance to inspire the next generation of equestrians.

Emile and his team run Heath Farm a centre of classical dressage teaching and training excellence, whose first priority is to create a balanced, professional and friendly environment where horse and rider will flourish together.
